Small Groups

You can't do life alone. At least we don't recommend it.

While Sunday morning services are important times of community and fellowship, small groups are the key to a deeper spiritual growth and connection.

One of the best ways to Widen Your Spirit is to make connection with people like yourself, who share similar interests, face the same challenges and can celebrate life's greatest moments together.

Some small groups are fairly static while other topics change seasonally, but the rewards of being part of one of these groups are constant.

Faith Groups at BPUMC are designed to help you:

  • Grow spiritually and connect with God on a deeper level
  • Connect more deeply with other people
  • Care for yourself and others
  • Engage with the comunity

For more information, contact Small Groups coordinator, loisprang@comcast.netloisprang@comcast.net

If there is no small group that is interesting to you, contact Rev. Katie or Lois Prang about what you are passionate about and let’s get something going!

  • Summer Hiking Group

    Anyone up for a hike?

We select a variety of places for different hiking tastes and experience. Some trails are close such as Priest Point Park in Olympia. And some are further away like Naches Peak Loop trail at Chinook Pass. We may hike on a Saturday or a Sunday afternoon. All hikes are rated easy or moderate.

Where ever we go, you can be assured that Fun Happens! People are still joking about the challenge we had with the tide coming in on the Vashon Island hike or the scrumptious food we ate at the Olympia Farmer's market after a hike. It's a great way to connect with old or new friends. Join us! Email Pam Robison for information pamrob777@gmail.com
