Pentecost Sunday- May 20th with All Church Potluck!! Pentecost is 50 days after Easter. Wear red, yellow or orange to worship on May 20th. This will be a day of great rejoicing! In honor of the celebration of the Holy Spirit, and the birth of the universal church, we are going to have an all-church potluck after the second service. This was one of the things that the congregation expressed was important for the life of our faith community. Mark your calendars and pull out your favorite potluck recipes! Make sure to invite your friends! We will be sending out sign ups through sign-up genius. You will be able to sign up at church or make a note on the back of your connection card. We also need donations of red geraniums to help decorate our altar and tables, as they symbolize the renewal of life, the coming of the warmth of summer, and the growth of the church at and from the first Pentecost. Questions: please see Rev. Katie for more details. Early service begins at 8:30 a.m. Communion is held every week at this service. Communion is open to ALL PEOPLE. Coffee and social time follow.
