  • Support Ken’s Choirs! As you may know, our staff accompanist pianist Ken Potter also directs Northwest Sound, a mens acappella chorus based in Bellevue. Come hear the Northwest Sound Men at Bellevue High School Dec.16th 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Please see Ken for tickets.

  • Poinsettias for Advent and Christmas: We are asking for people to donate $5.00 to the Holiday Flower fund in honor or memory of your loved one. We will then purchase bigger and better poinsettias to help decorate for the Cantata and Christmas Eve. Deadline is December 17th. If you have any questions, please see Jana Callender. 
  • Sermon Series Idea Survey! We want your feedback. Is there a topic you would like address in a sermon? Do you have questions about your faith or the Bible? Are there issues you are struggling with in your life and want to know if God has anything to say about it? Please fill out this survey by clicking on this link
  • HATS! HATS! HATS! The clothes-line will come down on Dec 17th! Hats, gloves (not mittens!), scarves and nice warm socks are all welcome to put on the line with clothespins provided! The nights and days are getting very cold already for the homeless folks in our community and our contributions are SO very welcome. Nativity House in Tacoma has two day-time shelters for the homeless where they can get a meal, take a shower, select needed clothing, and socialize. The clothing need not be new, but clean and in good repair. If you would like to help deliver these items to the Nativity House, please contact Tina Anton at
  • December 24th, Christmas Eve Offering - We will take a Christmas Eve Offering to benefit Community Youth Services of Pierce County. If you have any questions, please see Tina Anton. Please make checks or donations out to Browns Point UMC with Christmas Eve Offering in the memo line.
  • Earth Ministry Tacoma Happy Hour - Join us at Earth Ministry’s work and find out ways you can get involved. Feel free to just hang out and get to know like-spirited people. It’s casual so drop in as you are able and feel free to bring a friend. We’re excited that this event is being led by local faith leaders who are passionate about deepening the faith-based environmental movement in Tacoma. Thanks to Immanuel Presbyterian for co-sponsoring! It's a great time to get involved and we hope you will join us in living out our shared call to steward our one and only planet.
