Book Group on Social Justice - will NOT meet in February.
Instead they will meet two times next month on March 6th and March 27th. They will be discussing the book, Letters to a Young Muslim by: Omar Saif Ghobash. These letters serve as a clear-eyed inspiration for the next generation of Muslims to understand how to be faithful to their religion and still navigate through the complexities of today’s world. They also reveal an intimate glimpse into a world many are unfamiliar with and offer to provide an understanding of the everyday struggles Muslims face around the globe. If you have any questions please contact Kris Sergienko at email@example.com
New Small Group Opportunity - Painting the Stars lead by David Warren

Stewart (PNWUMC Elder) using the peace circle model, the training will enhance our understanding of how to intervene in ways that feel safe and do-able by providing skills to prevent and reduce harm. Learn how to stop standing by and begin to become an active bystander. We will learn techniques and methods that help us with nonviolent, peacemaking, and de-escalating interruptions of racism, sexism, heterosexism, ableism, and all the isms!
