Christmas at Browns Point United Methodist

Christmas is a very special time for all of us! It is a time to remember how God so loved the world that God sent God's son, Jesus to us as a gift! It is a time to gather together with family, friends, and neighbors to rejoice that the light has come into the world and the darkness did not overcome it! So come join us and celebrate the best gift we can receive at Christmas- our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

    The Redemption of Scrooge!

Journey with us through Advent as we await the arrival of Jesus Christ. Our Advent sermon series is based on the Charles Dickens’s beloved story, A Christmas Carol! Along our journey we will meet the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come and learn about living with others in a world blessed by Jesus.

God is making all things new. God breaks into our world, in the midst of our messy lives, in the midst of brokenness and pain. God comes to us again to save us and our beautiful world!

Advent Potluck and Study Dec.13th, and 20th from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Join us every Wednesday during Advent for a meal together and a time of preparing for Christ to be born anew in us. Our study will be Redemption of Scrooge! We will be watching the movie Scrooge, read scripture and prepare ourselves for the arrival of Jesus.

All are welcome! Come even if you can't bring a dish to share! There is always more than enough food to share!
